ABSTRACT
The article discusses the precariousness of using an excel spreadsheet in managing corporate revenues and employee compensation. A survey conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers stated that there is a 90% error rate on corporate spreadsheets and that there are several mistakes in the inputs and entries being put on it. It also affirms that despite having a place as an analytical tool, spreadsheets still pose danger when it comes to recording large amounts of sum.
