ABSTRACT
The article reports that the periodical "Rachel's News" will publish its 1000th issue on February 26, 2009, which will be its last issue. The periodical is inviting stories and essays on how Rachel's has changed the lives of people over the past 23 years. It is stated that with the arrival of the Internet, Rachel's became more valuable. Publisher Peter Montague adopted the online technology, and used it to provide information on health, environment and democracy to various communities.
