Forbes Asia;3/16/2009, Vol. 5 Issue 4, p36
The article presents tips by Richard Newman, chief executive of UK Body Talk, on body language. Many people know that crossed arms suggest defensiveness, but Newman says there are many gestures and posture tics that undermine executives. He says that by changing one's body language, one can go from a thumbs down to a thumbs up. One of his tips implies that putting hands palms down is a sign that someone means business.
