ABSTRACT
The article discusses the benefits of offsetting carbon liability via transacting carbon credits offshore to manufacturers in Australia. The benefits are focused on the discounted price of carbon potentially available to organizations by purchasing carbon credits. The Emissions Trading Scheme is designed to be able to link up with international markets and schemes.
