Agents hit back at survey

The article reports that travel agents have opposed the findings of an online survey conducted by the travel agency Entire Direct Marketing which found that only 7% of consumers seek advice from travel agents while planning a holiday. The survey also found that 66% of respondents preferred the internet while looking for holidays and 8% placed guidebooks and magazines above travel agents. Gabi Birbeck, director of Rendezvous Travel feels that many come in travel agencies and book online.
