ABSTRACT
The article discusses various ways for organizations toward quick, efficient and effective meetings. It outlines the roles of participants to have a meeting that works well. The role of the convener is to check on follow-up items and to decide if a meeting is needed. Two important types of attendees mentioned are those who are needed to reach decisions and those who need to know of decisions and information. Items included in meeting agenda are highlighted. It stresses the need for meetings to have ground rules.
