ABSTRACT
The article examines the three-phase remediation plan proposed by New Jersey-based Geo-Cleanse International Inc. and Florida-based Mactec Engineering and Consulting Inc. for preparation of the construction of the new Orlando Events Center in a site with a groundwater tetrachloroethene (PCE) underneath. The said plan suggests in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), the addition of ISCO using sodium permanganate, and the removal of impacted shallow soil in order to pursue the construction project.
