ABSTRACT
The author outlines possibilities entailing with the nomination of Lisa P. Jackson as the administrator of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) by President Barack Obama in the U.S. Considering the memorandum released by Jackson upon designation on January 23, 2009, the author expects that climate change law and policy will likely be the cornerstone of the Obama administration. She adds that more seismic environmental legislative and policy developments are likely to take place in the future.
