ABSTRACT
The article narrates how the charity organization, Crisis, brought the plight of the homeless to public awareness when it displayed 30 cardboard beds painted with the words "Loving the snow? Try sleeping in it," in London's crowded places including tube stations and alleyways frequented by homeless people on the day after the first snowfall in February 2009. The idea was launched by the charity's marketing agency, Rapp, who considered timeliness as an important factor in a successful campaign.
