ABSTRACT
The article reports that the European Parliament is proposing a trilateral deal between the European Union (EU), Ukraine and Russia that would ensure gas supply from Russia via Ukraine to the EU in the future. A comprehensive energy strategy has been agreed up by Members of Parliament (MEPs) also proposed the writing of an energy security clause. The strategy also called for investment to create more grid interconnections between EU countries and a road map for nuclear energy investments.
