This article announces a partnership formed between e-commerce company Digital River and Playxpert to bring e-commerce in-game. Digital River plans to include a one-stop shop of sorts in Playxpert's in-game toolbar. The Playxpert widget enables gamers access to several features including a web browser, universal messaging service and music player without the need to alt-tab out of game. According to Charles Manning, Playxpert chief executive officer (CEO), the toolbar also allows users to see what games their friends have and what games they are playing.
