New watchdog starts push for lower prices

The article reports that the new watchdog Consumer Focus has launched a campaign to pressurize gas and electricity companies to bring down household bills in line with the fall in wholesale prices. Consumer Focus chief executive Ed Mayo reported his organization was keen for companies to break ranks and argued that suppliers should justify a decision not to drop prices.
