ABSTRACT
The article discusses the profitability of online social networks. It cites that there are two important factors that affect the profit of online social networks, one is on the lack of understanding about the dynamics on social networking and the other one is on the struggles of carriers and handset manufacturers on finding the right social networking scenario that consumers will be willing to pay. It also notes on the fundamentals of social networking analytics which started in 1960s.
