The article focuses on the initiative of telephone companies in delivering seamless network experience to homes. Every telco is taking on more fiber, like Verizon's fiber-to-the-premises architecture, followed by Qwest and AT&T with fiber-to-the-node delivery. They deliver voice, video and high-speed data over their networks and then transport that content to various devices within the home. Verizon provides enough bandwidth to deliver multiple services that can be transported around the home.
