ABSTRACT
The article reports that TUI UK Ltd. has is planning to expand its apprenticeships programme into new areas of the business as Apprenticeship Week draws to a close. The company has hired 3,500 apprentices in the last five years and they now make up 30% of all its travel agency staff and tour reps. TUI UK accredited programmes manager Andy Smyth said the company is looking at having apprentice cabin crew and management.
