ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the FFG Upgrade Project in Australia that aims to upgrade Adelaide-class frigates in order to enhance the Royal Australian Navy's (RAN) surface warfare capabilities. It states that the Australian Defense Force (ADF) has 12 surface combatants, including eight Anzac-class and four FFG-7s, and the upgraded FFG offers classic hard-kill and soft-kill layers of defense. It mentions that the upgraded FFG provides the best underwater warfare (UW) capability in the RAN.
