ABSTRACT
The article reports on the status of Tesla as of March 19, 2009. The company has rolled up Roadster No. 250 after its layoffs, the closure of its office in Detroit, a chief executive officer (CEO) shuffle, and delays in its Model S sedan. Tesla is also waiting for its loans worth $350 million from the U.S. Department of Energy. It also announced the production of 20 sporty, all-electric Roadsters per week.
