ABSTRACT
The article reports on a letter concerning housing rights policy in Cambodia, sent by the chairperson of the European Union's (EU) Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Human Rights for Saphoeun Sun, the country's ambassador to the EU. It says that the country, as a signatory to the United Nations, has a legal obligation to comply with international standards on housing rights, and guarantee compensation to those affected by property development plans.
