ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the differences between evidence-based practice (EBP) and the individuals. He notes that researchers like to pose questions about large populations, while the clinicians prefer to ask questions on the client facing them in the sound booth. However, he argues that both share a common problem which is the controlled observation. He adds that EBP attempts to link gap by helping clinicians assess the evidence's value.
