Co-operative set to sell own package holidays

The article reports that agents of Co-operative Travel Group are to sell their company's own package holidays as a result of an exclusive joint venture with Cosmos. The venture, the Cooperative Holidays, will launch in early summer of 2010. It will offer summer and winter sun holidays in the eastern and western Mediterranean as well as some long-haul destinations such as Florida and Mexico. It will have its own licence and ABTA bond and carry more than 15,000 passengers.
