ABSTRACT
The article reports on the worries expressed by EnerNOC over a possible competition it will face from advanced-metering companies. The public clean-technology company predicts that the market for demand-response technology in North America could reach $11.5 billion a year. The company is engaged in the provision of services to commercial, institutional and industrial customers designed to reduce their electricity usage when power grid is in high demand.
