ABSTRACT
The article reports that Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) has acquired power-line communications technology from a privately held company based in Quebec City, Canada. The deal shows that ADI buy the PowerBUS RHINO power-line communications technology and all related patents, hardware, and software from Domosys Corp. According to ADI, the technology is effective for the advanced metering infrastructure systems utilities need for smart-grid applications.
