The purpose of this study is to find solutions to scale naming problem in traditional Turkish folk music through computer technology. Thanks to the computer supported maqamic analysis, drawbacks of naming the scales of traditional Turkish folk music are tried to be removed. The results of the study show that it is possible to name "ayak" concept as maqam.
