ABSTRACT
According to new municipality act; 2.000 population size municipalities will be abolished and transferred perishes. If a small size municipality united a perish which was near the municipality untill the last of 2006, the municipality couldn't be abolished. 2.000 population size municipality is number of 354. All of them is 14 number of sub-province, 19 of number metropolitan city first level municipality. So the rest of number is 321. this number is 1.86 per centage of total amount. Small size municipalities has used opportunity which is occurred by new act limitly. We think that the municipalities meet the difficulties to unite the neighbour perishes. In addition, the opinion of home office in Turkey could effect this situation.
