ABSTRACT
Teacher is the indispensible part of education whatever the environment and the means used are. Today, there are attempts at training and employing professional people through government. However, these employment policies influence the prospective teachers closely and slow down their professional and personal development. In the present study, the views of 102 prospective teachers studying at Dumlupinar University Department of Elementary Education in 2006-2007 academic year Elementary Education were asked for. It was found out that the seniors and the freshmen were more influenced from the policies followed and they some extra attended courses for this reason.
