KadÄ°kalesi Cemetery is 3.5 km. away from Turgutreis and 22 km. away from Bodrum. It's near to the shore and a small cemetery. 8 Ottoman term ornamented gravestones and 1 near term gravestone were chosen to study. The oldest one is from 1759, the newest one is 1974. Four of them of males, five of them of females. The ornaments are mostly floral but there are also geometric, figurative and written. The ornaments are antinaturalistic and partly naturalistic. They stylized with baroque and rococo styles. The linear ornaments are also seen.
