ABSTRACT
In this study it has been investigated man's psychological situations, despair and it's situation according to belief and belief-act. Despair is undesirable situation and problem from the point of belief. There is most close connection between the belief and expectation or despair and unbelieving. According to Islam creed, person/human being mustn't be desperate because despair is destroying the men's will and liberty. There are a lot of individual and social damages of the despair. It is emphasized in the Qur'an that the Muslim must be hopeful and must not be hopeless of God. Because of relation between Belief and act according to Kelâm, despair is connecting with unbelief; hopeful if belief. In addition to this, Qur'an also recommends balance between belief and act.
