ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs concerning the cosmetics industry. International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) posted an increase in net income and local currency sales for the fourth quarter of 2008. Sales and turnover of Unilever for the fourth quarter of 2008 went up. Beauty net sales of Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G) from October to December 2008 went down by 4 percent.
