This article reports on the increase in Institute Council of Management (IMS) membership in 2008, according to IMS training provider Scott-Grant Limited. The increase can be attributed to the popularity of the four-week certificate programme introduced by IMS. Managing Director Richard Taylor says the IMS course has a significant impact on the workplace. He adds that more people view the IMS Certificate qualification as the industry standard.
