ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the move of ACS-Cobra Group to install the Avdelok structural lockbolts from Avdel to support about 7,500 Andasol 1 thermosolar collectors in its facility in Southern Spain and to ensure that the framing did not work loose. It emphasizes the importance of the fasteners' heads and collars in ensuring uniform clamp load over a contact surface. About 10 HAT electrohydraulic power units and four Avdel 7267 hydro-pneumatic tools were utilized to install the bolts by operators.
