The article focuses on the use of a mixed-mode production line based on TS 2plus pallet-based conveyor system in the manufacture of the clean-exhaust diesel particulate filter developed by HJS Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH in Germany. The TS 2plus was developed by Bosch Rexroth Corp. It was selected by HJS due to its fast belt speeds, flexibility, modular design and durability. It is said that the system can be easily reconfigured in the future to accommodate new product types because of the modularity of the TS 2plus.
