ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the implications of regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO) in pollution control in the U.S. According to the author, RTO is a type of thermal oxidation system and an energy efficient technology that addresses volatile organic compounds and other pollutants as well as reduces fuel consumption and heat generation. It also offers information on the remediation process undertaken by RTO as well as the materials used in the technology along with the advantages and benefits of the application.
