The fund which is believed to be the largest of its kind has taken an integrated approach, splitting its funds evenly between venture and hedge investments and using its knowledge of disruptive early-stage companies to inform its investments in mature public companies. It offers information on the investments made by Crossover, such as its investment in two venture-stage solar panel manufacturers and in solar module manufacturer First Solar.
