Apple Talks iPhones in Thailand

This article reveals that Apple Thailand's Advanced Info Service (AIS) has been negotiating about selling the U.S. firm's iPhone in the Thai market. Prattana Leelapanang of AIS says they are negotiating on details such as revenue sharing standard. iPhone is available in both the U.S. and European markets. There is a plan to launch iPhone in Asia in 2008. Meanwhile, AIS signed a contract with state-owned fixed line operator TOT to develop their networks in an effort to reduce costs, according to AIS President Wichian Mektrakarn.
