ABSTRACT
The article reports on the $3.5 million investment secured by mobile advertising technology startup Smaato in a first round of funding in January 2008. According to Harald Neidhardt, chief marketing officer of Smaato, the company's technology helps mobile advertising sales networks to extend their reach.
