Macworld: Jobs Puts Macbooks on Diet

The article announces that Apple launched a slimmer notebook, movie rentals for iTunes, as well as iPhone and iTouch updates at the 2008 Macworld in San Francisco, Californai. The new Macbook Air was described by Apple Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Steve Jobs as the world's smallest notebook. The product launches and updates did not impressed investors as Apple shares experienced a 6.46 drop. The new laptop will retail for $1,799. Also, Apple plans to launch the next generation of AppleTV.
