SWOT Analysis
The article presents an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) against Borders Group Inc., which operates book, music and movie superstores and mall-based bookstores. One of Borders' strengths is its large scale of operations, with 541 superstores in several countries as of February 2008. Two of the threats against Borders are economic slowdown in the U.S. and increasing competition.
