ABSTRACT
This article announces the opening of Eon UK's Engineering Academy by British Skills Secretary John Denham. Applicants from across the industry can avail of the training that the academy offers. According to Eon UK Chief Executive Paul Golby, they are investing billions of pounds in the industry to help boost the British economy and ensure the supply of the right people with the right skills for a sustainable mix of energy resources. He adds that Eon UK is collaborating with colleges and universities to develop qualifications for the industry.
