ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs related to industrial firms as of January 23, 2009. There is a high demand on gas from Great Britain due to the cold weather and nervousness caused by the Russia-Ukraine dispute. A study of The British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) shows that the performance of small wind turbines has found significant differences between makers' claims for the equipment and the actual output achieved. An Institute of Customer Service survey reveals that utilities are second from bottom in a league table for customer service.
