This article reveals that artist Peter Stocker has been commissioned by Southern Water to sculpt a snowman from a lump of lard. The snowman is part of Southern Water's Christmas campaign to convince consumers to dispose of fat, oils and grease in a more environmentally friendly manner instead of flushing them down the sink into the sewers. Majority of all sewer blockages are attributed to the build up of fatty material.
