ABSTRACT
The article discusses the trends in the demand for high-sulfur petroleum coke in China. It states that the output of high sulfur coke in the country accounts for more than 30% of the total output of petroleum coke. It notes that the demand of petroleum coke in the silicon industry will gradually decrease. According to the article, China's industrial silicon industry consumes about 7 to 9 percent of the high sulfur coke output.
