The article reports on the plan of Southern California Edison to create the biggest solar cell installation in the world. The project will place photovoltaic panels, which convert the sun's rays into electricity, on 65 million square feet of roofs of Southern California commercial buildings and generate 250 megawatts of peak power. The projects needs approval from the California Public Utilities Commission.
