ABSTRACT
The article discusses the reaction of John Riccitiello, head of Electronic Arts (EA), about the average score of the company's video games on Metacritic.org in 2008 which is 72, a drop from 77 in 2007. Riccitiello said that they must recover because the assessment reflects the game titles that are accurately measured and summarized. However, some critics of the site point out that there is increasingly a mismatch between scores for so-called casual games and the popularity of those products.
