MessageOne's owners include Impact Venture Partners and Impact Entrepreneurs Fund, managed by Adam Dell. Impact investors include Michael Dell and his wife, Susan Dell, and Dell's parents. In an effort to dispel objections surrounding related-party transactions, Michael was barred from negotiating the acquisition terms. Adam will land about $970,000 and his parents will get about &450,000.
