ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Internet broadcasting in the U.S. It offers a brief overview of the live Internet broadcast of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I Men's Basketball Championship tournament by CBSSports.com to other Web sites such as Facebook, YouTube, Yahoo Sports and ESPN.com. In 2006, CBS, which bought the broadcast rights to the popular tournament in 2003, dropped its $19.95 subscription fee and switched to ad revenue only.
