The article reports on the strategies that will help business enterprises to efficiently implement enterprise content management (ECM) in the U.S. These include the desire of organizations to adopt ECM and recognition of the significant role played information management, commitment of top executives to implement ECM and encourage their staff to support the move, and offer training to employees concerning the concepts and challenges that need to addressed in the utilization of ECM. It reveals that ECM plays essential in the efficient management of information tha meets the needs of companies and their customers.
