ABSTRACT
The article reports on the significant role played by intelligent software agents in managing information resources by business enterprises in the U.S. It reveals that intelligent software agents help organizations to efficiently handle content stored in electronic systems, including databases, electronic mails and Portable Document Format (PDF) files. In addition, the implementation of software agents reduced the workload of employees and allow them to perform tasks efficiently.
