ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on how to make the most of direct mail marketing in tourism in Great Britain. Investing in marketing during recessions is one way to enhance business. The data on consumers using travel services can be analysed and segmented with precision and mailings that can be personalised. Cost-effective marketing mailers can be put together by mailroom technology. Transactional mailings to carry marketing messages are also effective in getting the most out of mail and cut costs.
