Emmis Communications owns a total of 25 radio stations primarily in the U.S. The move of Emmis signals the entry of the radio broadcasting industry in the Internet sector. Emmis Interactive claims that it can measure what listeners like on the web with more precision than one can using traditional radio market metrics. It relates the declining revenue of the terrestrial radio industry.
