ABSTRACT
The article announces that Altor Networks was able to raise $6 million in a second funding round led by Accel Partners and Foundation Capital. The company is focused on virtual traffic. The group is comprised of Apani, BlueLane, Catbird Networks, Reflex Security, and Altor. Andreas Antonopoulos, senior vice president of Nemertes Research, said that traditional perimeter security is getting less adequate because of mobility and virtualization.
